Security Council President Briefs Press on DPRK, Sudan and South Sudan, Palestine, Syria

Rafael Darío Ramírez Carreño, Permanent Representative of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the UN and President of the Security Council for February, speaks to journalists following closed Security Council consultations on a draft resolution imposing additional sanctions on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) for its ballistic missile launch earlier in the month. He also delivered a press statement on the humanitarian situation in Sudan and South Sudan; spoke on the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian occupied territories; and fielded questions on the situation in Syria.
