Security Council President and Japan Permanent Rep Brief Press on DPRK Missile Launch

Volodymyr Yelchenko, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN and President of the Security Council for February, and Koro Bessho, Permanent Representative of Japan, speak to journalists following urgent closed-door consultations of the Council on the latest launch of a ballistic missile by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). The Council issued a press statement strongly condemning the DPRK’s most recent ballistic missile launches conducted on 11 February 2017, as well as 19 October 2016.
