Description

This film deals with Thailand’s part of what drug traffickers and enforcement officers alike justly call the “Golden Triangle”, which originates about half of the worlds illicit opium supply. Here a joint UN-Thai Government project is trying to provide alternative cash crops for the hill tribes who earn what little money they have from the cultivation of the opium poppy.
