Ms. Johnson-Sirleaf says that political instability is a source of disruption to economic development. She adds that UNDP and other UN agencies are working together along with African countries on matters vital to economic development and growth. She also stresses that family planning, education and other skills are important elements to achieve sustainable development without damaging the environment.
