Description

Climate Change

Michael Zammit Cutajar, Executive Secretary of the United Nations Climate Change Negotiations, discusses global warming, climate change and other related issues. He believes that the world economy has failed to take into account the ecological and social cost of industrialization. Scientists assert that global warming is inevitable since the greenhouse gases are already in the atmosphere. The overall objective of “The Framework Convention on Climate Change”, Mr. Zammit Cutajar explains, is to stabilize emission of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere at a level which will prevent further drastic change in the global climate.
