Kuwait’s position is clear, this is a matter that the Council should address and have a unified position towards. What’s happening is a clear violation of the international law.”

We demand that these massacres to be stopped and we want an investigation so that those who are responsible for these massacres from the Israeli side to be held responsible. We also salute Israeli organizations that have asked the soldiers not to fire against the civilians and those who are asking for an investigation.”

Representatives of Palestine, Kuwait and the Arab League at the United Nations have asked the Security Council to condemn the Israel over its use of force against the Palestinian protestors at the Gaza border with Israel.
Speaking to reporters in New York Friday (6 Apr) Mansour Al-Otaibi, Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the United Nations said” Kuwait has circulated already another press statement to the Council, it’s text almost identical to the one we circulated last week. Kuwait’s position is clear, this is a matter that the Council should address and have a unified position towards. What’s happening is a clear violation of the international law.”
Riyad Mansour, Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations said “We believe that the Security Council to continue to disregard its responsibility is encouraging the Israeli side to continue with this onslaught against our people and we reject it. “
Mansour also said “We condemn these massacres in the strongest possible terms. Last week, Secretary-General António Guterres called for an independent and transparent investigation into clashes at the Gaza fence on Friday between Palestinians participating in the ‘Great Return March’ and Israeli security forces which resulted in dozens of deaths and a large number of injured.
Thousands of Palestinians had marched to Gaza’s border, also known as the green line, last Friday to protest the long-standing blockade of the enclave.
