UNICEF'S VACCINATION CAMPAIGN

Richard Reid, Director of UNICEF"s Division of Public Affairs, declares that during the last decade, 80 percent of the world's children have been vaccinated against six childhood diseases that kill more than two million children annually. By the year 2000 vaccination would reach 95 percent of all children. Efforts are now made, Mr. Reid says, to control other major killer diseases such as AIDS.
