Description

Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 played by the Danish Radio Orchestra; conducted by Eric Tuxen.
“Hymn to the Sun” from opera “Iris” by Pietro Mascagni, featuring the La Scala Orchestra and Chorus of Milan; conducted by Victor Da Sabata.
Fourth movement “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony performed by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the chorus of the Gesellshaft der Musikfreunde; conducted by Wilhelm Furtwaengler, with soloists Irmgaard Seefried, Rosette Anday, Julius Patzak and Otto Edelmann.
Florent Schmitt’s "Psaume" (Psalm 47) with Desire-Emile Inghelbrecht conducting the chorus and orchestra of the French National Broadcasting System. Soloists are soprano Genevieve Moizan and organist Jeanne Baudry-Godard.
