During the briefing, the ECOSOC President shared her vision for the Economic and Social Council and the expectations from ECOSOC Members. The briefing included reflections from former Bureau Members on how the Council adapted to change over the recent years. A preview of the 2019 ECOSOC Programme of Work was presented. The briefing also provided an opportunity for questions and answers. This political part of the briefing was followed by a technical UNITAR Orientation Course on ECOSOC.
