The President of the United Nations General Assembly, María Fernanda Espinosa outlined preparations for the High-Level event Women In Power, on 12 March in New York, which will be attended by women Heads of State and Government, representatives of international organisations and civil society.

The PGA also reported on the work of 73rd session of the UN General Assembly and addressed global developments.

Opening remarks were delivered by the President of the UN General Assembly, for five minutes, followed by a Q&A.
