Escalating conflict in Cameroon’s Northwest and Southwest regions has displaced over 437,000 people within the country and over 36,000 more outside the country. Many who have crossed into neighbouring Nigeria fled with very little belongings and are receiving support from their Nigerian hosts.
Majority of the 36,000 people who have fled Cameroon's conflict and crossed into Nigeria are living in hosting communities where their Nigerian hosts have shown solidarity with them.
