Description

This Council created the Special Commission and it’s a very specific mandate, which was to locate and destroy all Iraq's nuclear-capable material, as well as all its chemical and biological weapons, and all ballistic missiles over a certain range. From the documentation submitted by the Secretary-General, the Iraqi authorities have denied the international team access to the locations and facilities which the team wished to inspect.
