The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Poland to the UN in partnership with the Permanent Missions of Brazil, Canada, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, United Kingdom and United States organized a meeting on the topic of advancing the safety and security of persons belonging to religious minorities. The challenges to their security include situations of armed conflicts, mass murders (persons targeted by extremist organizations for religious reasons), violent attacks but also everyday violence and discrimination, which can constitute early warning indicators for conflict.
