During the high-level debate, Member States and Observers of the General Assembly exchanged views about opportunities and challenges in mainstreaming youth in crime and violence prevention policies and practices as well as initiatives that aim to mobilize and empower youth as agents of change and contribute to more effective, evidence-based prevention.
