Description

The President of the General Assembly, Abdulla Shahid, will make an official visit to Azerbaijan. He will be in Baku from 12 to 13 June, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Today in the General Assembly Hall, Member States voted for ECOSOC members for the 2023-2025 term. These are three-year terms. Also today, the General Assembly adopted by consensus the draft resolution on multilingualism, A/76/L.57.

On Monday next week, 13 June, at 10AM ET in the Trusteeship, there will be an informal meeting of the General Assembly to hear from the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General on Myanmar.
