Today is World AIDS Day. You have the President’s message for the Day, where he says that inequalities, discrimination and disregard for human rights are hampering our progress on ending AIDS.

This afternoon, President Kőrösi will convene the second informal meeting of the General Committee.

Speaking of the Committees, I’ve been getting questions about when resolutions acted on in the Committees will be put up for action in the General Assembly.

In terms of today’s bilaterals, the President met with Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for Social Policies of Singapore.

Tomorrow, President Kőrösi will hold a town hall with civil society representatives to discuss his priorities for the 77th session – under the slogan solutions through solidarity, sustainability and science.
