“Since the beginning of the earthquake, we tried to receive all the injured people. It is the only functioning hospital in Jandairis. We tried to help everyone with our simple capabilities and until now, we are trying to help all the incoming injured with bandages and wound stitching.”

The building in front of us collapsed. We went out and it was raining and thundering. It was cold. The electricity went out.”

A United Nations interagency mission visited a hospital and clinics supported by the Syria Relief and Development (SRD) NGO in earthquake affected North-West Syria.
The visit - to assess needs and distribute aid - included representatives from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the United Nations Department for Safety and Security (UNDSS), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

The UN humanitarian agencies visited a SRD-supported hospital and clinics as well as the Bahar Primary Health Center in Jandairis.
Distribution of cross-aid was provided by the WHO and included trauma emergency and surgery kits and medicines.
