Description

In the next hour, President Csaba Kőrösi will host a training session on accessibility and disability awareness.

This session is tailored for delegates of Member States, observers of the General Assembly and representatives of NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC.

It will be an informal conversation on the human dimension of inclusion, with presentations of good practices, etiquette and communication and protocols.

Later this afternoon, President Kőrösi will hold his monthly meeting with the ECOSOC President, Ambassador Lachezara Stoeva.

The President today will also meet with Ambassador Pascale Baeriswyl, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the UN as President of the Security Council for the month of May.

He will have a meeting with Ambassador Alya Bint Ahmed Al-Thani, the Permanent Representative of Qatar.

And Ambassador Rytis Paulauskas, the Permanent Representative of Lithuania.

Tomorrow, President Kőrösi will host his second townhall with civil society.

The theme is “Midway through the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Push for Accelerated Progress towards the SDGs”.

The townhall will start at 10AM ET in Conference Room 1.
