Storyline

The UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Tuesday (17 Oct) called for an immediate ceasefire and for humanitarian access to allow for much needed aid in Gaza.

Hundreds of thousands of children and families are caught in a catastrophic situation.

Over a week into the war, hundreds of children have reportedly been killed and thousands more injured. Children and families in Gaza have practically run out of food, water, electricity, medicine and safe access to hospitals, following days of hostilities and cuts to all supply routes.
