“Thanks to the funds from ECHO (European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations) and WHO together with one of the Emergency Medical Teams, was able to set up and properly support a new acute malnutrition and stabilisation centre in Kamal Adwan Hospital in north Gaza. In fact, in this centre we are receiving more than 10 patients per week and we are able indeed to scale up in future also on the malnutrition response.”

“Doctors from the Norwegian Foundation (NORWAC) came from Norway to perform surgeries at Al-Awda Hospital. Orthopaedic surgery to assist our doctors at Al-Awda Hospital, in addition to bringing some medical supplies and medications. We thank the donors who provided support to Al-Awda Hospital.”

The World Health Organization (WHO) and partners facilitated the deployment of an international medical team to Kamal Adwan Hospital and successfully transferred four patients to European Gaza Hospital. The team also delivered essential medical supplies to Kamal Adwan Hospital and support the assessment of Al-Awda Hospital.
