The AI for Good Global Summit, hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) began today (29 May) in Geneva aiming to discuss how best to implement principled AI frameworks while ensuring that no country is left behind.

The event began on the UN first AI Governance Day.

Secretary-General António Guterres is expected to deliver a video message tomorrow underscoring the importance of building safe and inclusive AI that is accessible to all.

There will also be events during the Summit featuring innovations in generative AI, robotics, and brain-machine interfaces.
