“In a few minutes, the Russian Federation will hold a UN Security Council meeting on multilateral cooperation for a more just, democratic and sustainable world order, against the background of its brutal war of aggression against Ukraine. The topic of debate is another clear demonstration of Russia's hypocrisy. Today's meeting must not distract the international community from Russia's flagrant violations of the UN charter and its of use of the UN Security Council, while cynically attempting to present to present itself as the guardian of the multilateral order.”
