“Well, at this center today, it gives a happy feeling in an overall catastrophic situation. You see people proud to be here, protecting their children, giving the vaccinations. And at the end of the day, it shows when there is political will, a lot is possible on the humanitarian front. That's what we need. This is a prime-time example of that. And the UN, all agencies, WHO, UNICEF, UNRWA, have done a formidable job. It's been well-coordinated, and people are coming from the early hours. And you can see the children. Some of them are wearing their clothes as if it's a nice occasion. There's a small ray of sunshine in otherwise a disastrous situation.”
