Eritrea's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Osman Saleh Mohammed, addressing the UN General Assembly in New York City Monday (30 Sep) highlighted the prolonged suffering of the Eritrean people and the need for greater global unity.

Speaking about Eritrea's history since World War II, Mohammed said, “Three generations of Eritreans were doomed to pay a precious and inordinate human sacrifice for almost 80 years since the end of the World War II, merely because the Dallas brothers determined that Eritrea does not serve the United States strategic interests.”
