UN Secretary-General António Guterres is expected to deliver remarks. “The world cannot afford to watch the two-State solution disappear,” Mr. Guterres told the 15-member Council at its open debate on the Middle East. “Do not let extremists on any side undermine what remains of the peace process,” he stressed. 

In the resumed meeting, additional member states provide their updated statements on the situation.
