In accordance with General Assembly Resolution 78/327 on Modalities of the 2026 United Nations Water Conference to Accelerate the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 6: Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all, the President of the General Assembly convenes an informal plenary meeting to promote the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 6.
