Description

The General Assembly meets to take action on an oral draft decision regarding the “Question of equitable representation on and increase in the membership of the Security Council and other matters related to the Security Council”. 

It will also take action on draft resolutions concerning the “Terms of Reference and Modalities for the Establishment and Functioning of the Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence and the Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Governance” (document A/79/L.118) and Cooperation between the United Nations and the Commonwealth of Independent States (document A/79/L.114), as well as hear an oral statement by the Secretariat on programme budget scheduling implications in connection with the draft decision regarding the “Venue and dates of the sixteenth session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development” (document A/79/L.103).
