4. SOUNDBITE (English) Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR):
“The people that you see here, the community of Kimoka, for a long time has been displaced from their own village, from this village, because of the fighting. Very recently, after the change in control, they were asked to leave their places of displacement and come back to their village. But what do they find here? Nothing. Many houses have been damaged; property has been looted and the services that they can use are extremely limited. Plus, there are very, very few sources of livelihoods. So, it's a very hard life that people that I have met here are living. I've met a woman who has 10 children and her husband died. Another more elderly woman with a large family. Once again, the men are not here because they either tried to get work somewhere or they disappeared or they were killed, this is a very dramatic situation. So the United Nations, UNHCR, international and national NGOs are negotiating with the authorities to try to bring, urgently, help to these people.”

6. SOUNDBITE (English) Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR):
“It's a complex negotiation. There is a little hope now with the peace talks in the United States and in Doha, creating hopefully a better political environment in which we can bring more easily, help to these communities. But we cannot wait. People are hungry. Children cannot go to school. Sick people cannot be treated. So, we're really appealing for... urgently for assistance, humanitarian assistance to be delivered to try to alleviate - at least a bit, this very dramatic situation.”
7. Wide shot, Sake
