“There are people sitting on the side of the street for days and sleeping out in the street for days without knowing where to go. Absolutely horrific stories of people walking, and looking for places, being told to move yet again and again. And there's no end to the suffering. What we need is urgent action to ensure protection of civilians, to ensure that everyone has shelter, has dignity and hope until they can return home if they wish to do so.”

“We escaped the bombardment. You see how death is everywhere. Our lives have become
extremely difficult. We left the north for Gaza city and then came down to Khan Younis.
There are no tents, and no water and no food. We’re even living on a main street, We live in constant fear because of fast trucks passing by, we don’t know where to go anymore.”

We came from west and have been stopping along the way. Hunger is killing us. We have nothing. We’re barefoot. Just the water jugs and the bag. This is it.”
