Addressing the General Assembly’s General Debate today (27 Sep) Saudi Minister for Foreign Affairs called on all states to recognize the State of Palestine and to support the implementation of the two-state solution.

He added, “This will be in line to international law and will entrench peace and security in the region and the world.”

He said, “Saudi Arabia strongly condemn the Iranian attack on sisterly Qatar, which runs counter to our work to build ties with neighborliness. Saudi Arabia also strongly condemns the continuous Israeli aggressions in the region, including the recent blatant attack on sisterly Qatar. We call for international measures to put a stop to Israel's actions and to deter it from such criminal behavior that threaten the security and stability of the region.”
