Description

The Council hears representatives' discussion on the role of Lebanon, and the armed internal force, Hizbullah, and their roles in the conflict between Iran and the US and Israel. The Council addresses the need to stop the violence and displacement in Lebanon. Lebanon's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ahmad Arafa, speaks to the Council in addition to Tom Fletcher, Jean-Pierre Lacroix and Rosemary DiCarlo.
