Description

The 193-member Assembly discusses the mechanism to assist in the investigation and prosecution of persons responsible for the most serious crimes under international law committed in the Syrian Arab Republic since March 2011, and the role of diamonds in fueling conflict, as well as take action on a draft resolution on the latter topic, A/80/L.53. 

It will take action on draft decisions on: Strengthening of the coordination of emergency humanitarian assistance of the United Nations (A/80/L.47); and on crime prevention and criminal justice (A/80/L.50).
