"This is creativity. So bringing an art to play a part in their emotions. Because once you step in, leave your shoes out, there's a sense of equalityness. It makes people- it humbles people- they actually enter and it brings everyone down, everybody smiles, people become human, you want to sit down, you want to relax, and people just want to communicate. And so in an atmosphere like that it’s easy to pass a message."
9. Wide shot, group clapping
10. SOUNDBITE (English) Emmanuel Jal, Musician:
"Events like this are going to make a difference because you're bringing different aspects of creativity, you're bringing in the government, you’re bringing in the business people, you're bringing in the arts together and you're bringing in the "normal" people to come in one place and once they enter here they're all wowed. And so now this is where the connections come in and the energy can be built."

An inflatable sculpture by British artist Alan Parkinson has opened at the United Nations European headquarters in Geneva.
The walk-through ‘Luminarium’ sculpture is designed to challenge diplomats, UN officials, school children and communities to think more creatively about how to make the work of the Human Rights Council better understood and applied around the world.
The week-long art installation was opened by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay. Some sessions of the UN’s Human Rights Council, currently taking place in Geneva, are expected to take place inside the structure.
The Luminarium will be filled with activities and events including a live hip hop performance by former child soldier and now international music and Hollywood artist Emmanuel Jal and multilingual audio recordings of why human rights matter to people around the world. Local school children will take part in workshops around their rights and the week will culminate in a mass recital from memory of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Speaking at the opening event Jal said: "Once you step in, leave your shoes out, there's a sense of equality”.
He said it “humbles people, they actually enter and it brings everyone down, everybody smiles, people become human, you want to sit down, you want to relax, and people just want to communicate. And so in an atmosphere like that it’s easy to pass a message."
