The traditional image of Palestinian women is that they live in crowded refugee camps. But that is changing, largely due to the educational programmes of UNRWA - the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. Today, Palestine refugee women have acquired a variety of skills and professions enabling them to take their place at all levels of society. (3 min.)
