Egypt Copes With Rising Juvenile Crime

In addition to an increase in the number of female prisoners, Egypt faces a widening juvenile crime problem. In conformity with UN standards for treatment of offenders, young people are trained through rehabilitation centers to acquire the necessary skills to reintegrate into the community upon their release.
