Poland Confronts Europe's Worst Pollution Crisis

The dramatic changes in Eastern Europe have focused attention on the region's serious environmental problems. Historic buildings are crumbling and forests dying. Poland is one of the most affected nations. Underground hospitals have been established to cope with victims of respiratory diseases and up to 50 percent of children are afflicted in some provinces. Poland's Prime Minister says international help will be needed.
