Description
In Colombia, more than half of the 5,000 street children have a history of drug abuse. Through the help of the UN Fund for Drug Abuse Control (UNFDAC) a wooden toy workshop has been started to give these children an opportunity to make use of their free time. The workshop employs the children daily from eight to three and implements deadlines and strict quality control. The children make educational toys such as building blocks and are doing quite well. It is hoped that some day they will take control over their lives and become the owners of their own companies. (3 min.)
