Burundi Refugees Flee To Rwanda
In the wake of a military coup, ethnic massacre between the Tutsi and Hutu peoples of Burundi in East Africa is creating death and terror. Neighbouring Rwanda, a small country with limited housing and sanitary facilities, has absorbed half of the close to seven hundred thousand refugees. Relief agencies like UNHCR and Medecins sans Frontiers, Belgium are part of a costly international effort to help Rwanda avert an outbreak of epidemics in the refugees camps.
