With U.N. Help, Vietnamese Women Succeed In Business

In Haiphong, the third most important city in Vietnam, an economic revolution of sorts is taking place. Women are successfully managing small businesses, not the traditional handicraft factories usually run by women, but more heavy industries like foundry shops, ceramic tiles, furniture shops, etc. With the help of UNDP and UNIDO, a government entity called COHASIPH is training more women to manage their own businesses.
