As Western Sahara Ceasefire Holds, UN Pushes Ahead With Identification Of Voters For Referendum

With a four year cease-fire in Western Sahara, UN personnel are now assisting Moroccans with the registration process of a referendum on the political status of the territory. The Spanish census of 1974 will be used as a starting point to identify eligible voters.
