Tens of thousands of young women from the rural areas are employed in a free trade zone in Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital. Accommodation is very poor and the women are on their own without support from family or relatives. With support from the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), the Government has established a model hostel and runs training programmes including sex education lectures. (4 min., 16 sec .)
