1998 Unicef Report On The State Of The World's Children Focuses On Malnutrition
In UNICEF's State of the World's Children Report, poverty was identified as the key factor in the growing number of malnutrition cases worldwide. Approximately 12 million children die each year in developing countries because of inadequate nutrition. UNICEF helps educate villagers in poor countries about the importance of proper nutrition in the mental and physical growth of their children.
