Detecting Landmines In Kosovo

Deminers are using specially trained dogs to help them detect buried landmines throughout the countryside in Kosovo. This team of deminers finds that dogs are much quicker at uncovering the hidden weapons allowing roads to be opened faster. The area is searched twice to ensure that no buried mines remain in the ground. The Norwegian People's Aid has employed some Bosnian deminers to help with the process.
