UN Helps Create Jobs In Armenia

An earthquake and the collapse of the Soviet Union in the late 80's followed by a war with Azerbaijan and an economic blockade left Armenia with a terrible legacy. Thirty thousand lives were lost in the quake. Unemployment hovers at 80 percent, and most of the population still lives in temporary housing.
