Brezovica Ski Resort

During the 1999 crisis the Brezovica ski resort on Kosovo’s Shara Mountain was closed. The resort has now reopened and this can help improve the economy of the surrounding area. It can also provide much needed employment for 200-300 people. 2002 has been designated by the United Nations the International Year of Mountains. Shara Mountain in Kosovo offers recreation in healthy surroundings.
