Undp's Mink'a Project Assists Bolivia's Indigenous Farmers

In the Andes Mountains of Bolivia the local indigenous communities exist on subsistence farming. UNDP and other international agencies are helping the farmers to improve their economic situation by providing technical assistance and training. Increased crop production has generated profits which have allowed villagers to improve their standard of living. The long-term goal of the project is to help the community to be self-supporting.
