Unicef Supports Aids Orphans In Swaziland
Swaziland, with a population of one million people, is one of the countries in Africa most affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. With more than 30 percent of the population infected, entire families have been destroyed and tens of thousands of children are now without parents. The government of Swaziland, UNICEF, and a number of NGOs, established Community Action for Child Rights to help local communities locate, identify and protect the orphans as well as other abandoned and vulnerable children.
