Summary

How photography can fight sexist street harassment – an example from Brussels (Belgium). SDG Action Talk by Young Activists from Plan International Belgium.

Description

Plan International Belgium and Canon created "BruxELLES" a project aiming to break the taboo on violence against girls in the city. For several months, youth photographed the streets of Brussels. The images are the result of education in photography, gender equality and influencing. This is youth activism.

Founded in 1937, Plan International is a development and humanitarian organisation that advances children's rights and equality for girls. We strive for a just world, working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners.
