The session will feature thought leaders from the United Nations and the field of behavioural science in a discussion of what behavioural science is, opportunities it presents for the work of the UN and how the UN can further its application. The event will also launch the UN Practitioner's Guide to Getting Started with Behavioural Science: Applications to UN Policies, Programmes, and Administration.


The session will include opening remarks from Volker Türk (USG for Policy), a keynote from Nobel-Prize winner Prof Abhijit Banerjee (MIT) and a panel discussion with Melissa Fleming (USG DGC), Claudia Mojica (Resident Coordinator Argentina) and Rodney Ghali (Government of Canada).
