- Thematic Session 1: Working Toward Concrete Solutions for Marginalized Young People Facing Unemployment
The Civil Society Forum is hosted jointly by UNDESA-DISD, the NGO Committee on Social Development and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Foundation. The Forum is a time for NGOs worldwide to learn about each other's work, to prepare for the Commission, including by work on position papers and interventions.
The 61st session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD61) will take place from 6 to 15 February 2023 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Commission is the advisory body responsible for the social development pillar of global development.
Priority Theme: Creating full and productive employment and decent work for all as a way of overcoming inequalities to accelerate the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
